Luis' Pages
One day Janie said she needed a web page ...
Well, look at that, my backup script can't get to the samba server. Uhhmm, I've seen this before, perhaps 8 months ago. Ahh, yes, I solved that already ... but what did I do? Let's see, think! It was not related to SELinux, no kernel bug, it was not samba's config file ... uhm let me check that ... nope, that looks good. Geez, I wish I had written down that issue. I always say that and yes, I tried it but it has never worked. I tried using a text document on my laptop as a recipe/notes document but I only made one entry. I tried using a private blog on one of those blogging sites but it was too public. I need my own private website where I could create and recall these notes no matter where I am at the time.
That's how this website came to be. I initially thought of it as a brain trash bin where I'd write stuff I know I'd forget soon but that I'd probably want to remember later. All this stuff was going to be private but then I realized that some info could be public ... ahem ... like my resume! duh!
So, here they are: my public pages.
